When you’re hosting a party, you should focus on having fun with your guests, not doing stuff like setting up, cleaning up, and making sure the food is hot. So let us take care of it all. Our staff loves doing parties and events and will make the process not just easy for you, but lots of fun! Here’s what you can expect:
- A personal appointment (phone, email or in-person) for touring the space, planning menus, and discussing details.
- Swift response to your calls or emails regarding your event. We hate when a vendor goes MIA on us, so we won’t leave you hanging.
- Complete seating, bar and table set-up and breakdown. We specialize in turn-key events.
- Flexibility on event day for your personal set-up. Tell us about any special decorating you want to do when you book your event; we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
- A party that your guests will remember you for (in a good way).

How to Reserve The Abbey
The Abbey can be reserved for private events any day of the week. Weekends book up especially fast, so it’s best to get in touch as soon as you’ve narrowed down a date for your event. The maximum time slot for any event is 4 hours, and a minimum of 15 guests is required unless other arrangements are made with Chatty Monks management.
Deposits & fees
For events of any size held on a Sunday through Friday before 5PM, a $150 reservation/facility fee + $350 food & beverage minimum is required. The $150 of the reservation/facility fee is required to confirm your date and becomes non-refundable 14 days before the event.
For events of any size held on a Friday after 5PM or on a Saturday, a $1,000 reservation/facility fee + $1,500 food & beverage minimum is required. The $1,000 reservation/facility fee is due upon reservation and becomes non-refundable 14 days before the event.

Catering & Event Menu Options
Let our chef whip you up a fanfare of Chatty Monks favorites, in party-size portions. No snoozy “hotel banquet chicken” here. Choose from platters of our famous sandwiches and appetizers, or build your own taco or nacho bar. We can create buffets for up to 50, or custom sit-down dinners for up to 35 people.
We offer many Gluten-free options and are happy to accommodate special dietary needs—just ask! All priced per person for easy budgeting.
